Our brownies fondant were born in Flamengo – Rio de Janeiro – Brazil.
Today they are sold throughout Rio de Janeiro, from Jacarepaguá to Pavuna, from Pedra do Sal to Madureira, passing through Ipanema and Copacabana.
Olivier Gael started selling brownies on the beach. An original recipe rich in cocoa and chocolate chunks that took two years to develop to adapt to the tastes of all social classes.
Moving from informal to formal, from street vendors on the beaches to boutiques, kiosks and hotels scattered throughout Rio de Janeiro, these brownies have become a benchmark.
Due to the quality of its brownie fondant , the fact that it adopts a local image as the identity of its product, and promotes funk, samba, and hip hop, and not just carnival or the beaches, the company has become a Love Brand with its fans.
Due to its success, it has also become a model and source of inspiration for other Brazilian entrepreneurs from favelas or “asphalt” (formal part of the cities). Corporate Social Responsibility assumed today, motivating and helping other entrepreneurs to structure themselves.

Today, OPARA Brasil Ltda wants to extend the “Carioca vibe” around the world, hence its presence at EXPO FAVELA – Paris, and to find business angels, investors and partners to continue its development throughout Brazil and the world.

- Offering guidance and helping them understand how to set up and manage a business, using their own company as a model.
- They even asked institutions to replicate this model in Africa or another community.

Since 2021, partnerships have been essential in the evolution of Brownies fondants: our neighbors and friends, two business angels who financed the purchase of the oven and helped register the brand.
And then the meetings helped evolve our vision, such as with Patricia Marins (black women in finance) and SEBRAE – RJ, which helped provide a solid and cross-cutting foundation.









For our first step in Europe, we had the opportunity to participate in Expo Favela – Paris, but also to hold an event in Venice – Italy.
With the rum brand Carnival Sun Juice, by French singer Joyestarr, we invented a ritual for consuming rum and brownies.
Our biggest investors are our B2B and B2C customers. They believed in a simple, unconventional product.
